OFFENE SEE I - Smögen

„Smögen is a summer place“ - is what a local told me about this beautiful city on the west coast of Sweden. Smögen is a peaceful place surrounded by archipelago islands. It combines relaxed holiday spirit with lightness and bustle around the typical colorful houses of Sweden.
OFFENE SEE II - Krakenes Fyr

Deep blue sea on a rugged coast - the lighthouse Kråkenes Fyr in Vestland Norway is at the mercy of the tides and defies the rough weather climate. This remote place served as the inspiration for the first work of the „gentle tones“ pieces.
OFFENE SEE III - Stavang

The small town of Stavang is located on Norway‘s west coast amidst the rugged island chains of vestland. The area is characterized by natural coastal areas and the Ausevik rockcarrvings. In summer, warming sun meets the deep blue sea and - with a bit of luck - brings you a breathtaking sunset.

OFFENE SEE IV - Atlanterhavsveien

The Atlantic Ocean Road is one of the most impressive routes along Norway‘s coast. The islands connected by numerous brigdes are exposed to the raw forces of nature and served as the inspiration for this part of The Offing series.
OFFENE SEE VI - Maloy

Located on the island of Vagsoy, Maloy is characterized by the sea and its location in the Norwegian archipelago. Rough waters and industrial fishing meet breathtaking nature. The white sandy beach with turquoise water is popular with local holidaymakers and stands in contrast to the island's high mountains and steep coastline.

OFFENE SEE V - Lavik

Lavik is a rather nondescript place in Norway with a ferry terminal. The small town is located directly on the Sognefjord, Norway's deepest fjord at around 1303m. The two-piece 'LAVIK' is inspired by the atmosphere and the coloring elements that were offered to us during the ferry crossing.
OFFENE SEE VI - Rabjerg Mile

Rabjerg Mile is a well-known attraction in northern Denmark and offers a breathtaking natural spectacle. The shifting sand dune stretches over an area of 120 hectares, with piles of sand up to 40 meters high. The landscape is constantly changing and the perfect spot for a sunset by the sea.
